Teacher slammed for playing video game while teaching online

The video of a teacher who appeared to be implementing a Home Teaching and Learning (PdPR) course recently drew criticism from internet users on TikTok. He has been criticized for playing the popular video game while teaching.

The 15-second clip shows the teacher obviously teaching his student while playing some sort of video game at the same time. The clip was uploaded to the TikTok account @amirulamrieys and it showed the man sitting in front of a laptop while explaining his teaching slides to his students.

However, there is another PC computer located behind the laptop which displays the “Dota” video game. “Arrested for playing Dota while teaching,“, We read in the caption of the video.

The video, which is now kept private, has received over 183,000 views so far and has garnered many comments from netizens. The majority of Internet users on TikTok mainly questioned the level of professionalism of the teacher as an instructor in exercising his responsibility to educate students. Some netizens also commented on the teacher’s ability to multitask because he is able to focus on two things at the same time. In fact, a few pointed out that the teacher did not play the video game while he was working, but just observed the game being played back.

There are also some who viewed the post as just content and it shouldn’t be taken seriously.
